Jason Wiltfang
Admitted to the Iowa Bar in 2012. Jason P. Wiltfang is a shareholder and member of the Board of Directors for Scheldrup Wiltfang Corridorlaw and focuses on defending self-insured employers and insurance companies throughout the state of Iowa. Mr. Wiltfang is the head of the Workplace Injury Practice Group at the firm. Jason also practices in the area of family law and various areas of civil litigation. He earned his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law.
Mr. Wiltfang presents regularly on workers’ compensation and employment law related matters to professional industry groups. He has also conducted in-house training sessions to occupational and orthopedic doctors, insurance brokers, insurance claims representatives, safety managers, workers’ compensation coordinators and fellow attorneys.
Mr. Wiltfang is originally from the Bahamas and grew up on the ocean, relocating to Iowa in 2002 where he met his wife Pamela. He and Pamela have 2 young sons and infant daughter that keep them busy outside of the office. He is also an avid sports fan and is partial to the South Florida teams he grew up cheering for and of course, his alma mater, the University of Iowa.
Mr. Wiltfang graduated from high school in his hometown of Marsh Harbour at the age of 15 and spent the following year sailing around the world on the tall ship S.V. Concordia. During his time in the Bahamas, he was also a certified EMT for the Trauma One Ambulance Service, assisting in over 600 emergencies as a volunteer. Prior to attending law school, Jason also worked in sports broadcasting.
